THE Currie Group highlighted its
digital credentials with a host of
solutions on its stand, including the
new HP Indigo B2 10000, the Scodix
digital embellishing system, and new
Bernie Robinson, managing
director of the eponymous supplier
to SME print businesses said, "Digital
print is booming, and Currie has
positioned itself like it always has, to
provide class leading solutions."
SmartStacker takes a printed B2
sheet and will cut it into up to 28
individual cut sheets, with intelligent
accumulation and stacking, and end-
to-end JDF control. Designed to run
in-line with the Indigo 10000n the
system can also be operated o -line.
The SmartStacker performs up to
seven double-slits in one direction
and four in the other for full bleed
trimming and can straight-stack,
o set stack, or bypass to in-line
nishing for saddlestitching, perfect
binding, or folding.

Horizon BQ280 PUR perfect binding
line, which Robinson says can be
con gured for both PUR and EVA

LANIER PPS made its debut at
PacPrint, with digital print solutions

fourth generaiton presses, they have
several new technlologies, including
AC transfer technology that allows
printing on textured stocks."

RENZ showcased digital sleeking solutions and book-
casing equipment at PacPrint 2013.
David Dunkley, Queensland branch manager of Renz,
said, "The newest product we have on o er is the sleeking
range of products. The UV sleeker has a matt hologram
emboss e ect. It is similar to a spot UV."

RILECART Binding Supplies showcased its
solutions at the event, Albert Mclaughlin,
NSW manager for Rilecart, said, "New to
the Australian market are the WB-450 and
the Ultramax. The Ultramax is a desk top
automatic punching device. The WB-450 is
a closing machine that closes from 6mm to
32mm and it closes long edge of A3.
